Water resources data, Maine, water year 1996

The Water Resources Division of the U.S. Geological Survey, in cooperation with State, Federal, and other local governmental agencies, obtains a large amount of data pertaining to the water resources of Maine each year. These data, accumulated during the many water years, constitute a valuable data base for developing an improved understanding of the water resources of the State. Water-resources data for the 1996 water year for Maine consists of records of stage, discharge, and water quality of streams; and water levels of ground-water wells. This report contains discharge records for 46 gaging stations, water-quality data for 4 gaging stations; and water levels for 31 ground-water wells. Additional water data were collected at other sites, not part of the systematic data-collection program, and are published as miscellaneous measurements.

Water resources data, Missouri, water year 2004

The U.S. Geological Survey, Missouri Water Science Center, in cooperation with local, State, and Federal agencies and organizations, obtains a large quantity of data pertaining to the water resources of Missouri each water year (October 1 to September 30). These data, accumulated during the water years, constitute a valuable data base for developing an improved understanding of the water resources of Missouri. Water-resources data for the 2004 water year for Missouri consist of records of stage, discharge, and water quality of streams; elevation, contents, and water quality of lakes and reservoirs. This volume contains discharge records for 174 gaging stations; elevation at 12 lakes and reservoirs; water quality at 108 sampling stations (including 2 lakes); data for 39 crest-stage stations; data for 6 water-quality partial-record stations; and water-level records for 8 ground-water monitoring wells.

The Water Resources Division of the U.S. Geological Survey, in cooperation with Federal, State, and City agencies, obtains a large amount of data pertaining to the water resources of Texas each water year. Such data, accumulated during many water years, constitute a valuable data base for developing an improved understanding of the water resources of the State. To make these data readily available to interested parties outside the Geological Survey, the data are published annually in four volumes of this report series entitled "Water Resources Data - Texas."

Water resources data for the 2002 water year for Alaska consist of records of stage, discharge, and water quality of streams; stages of lakes; and water levels and water quality of ground water. This volume contains records for water discharge at 109 gaging stations; stage or contents only at 5 gaging stations; water quality at 26 gaging stations; and water levels for 45 observation wells. Also included are data for 32 crest-stage partial-record stations. Additional water data were collected at various sites not involved in the systematic data-collection program and are published as miscellaneous measurements and analyses.
