The Geographic Information Office, Information Policy and Services Office (IPSO) oversees the bureau's policies and functions related to information services and delivery, i.e., Libraries, Enterprise Web, information centers (through the Natural Science Network), Information Resources Management, and Enterprise Publishing. Global Fiducials Library

Introduction The Earth changes continuously in response to natural processes and human activity. The collection and interpretation of time-series imagery enhances our ability to observe and monitor Earth’s dynamic processes as well as study and understand the rapidly changing surface of our planet. The Global Fiducials Library (GFL) provides repeated satellite imagery of selected locations around the world to help scientists observe, document, and better understand those changes over time.
